  • 1 (2 pound) top round London broil
  • 1 (28 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 clove garlic (or more if you like garlic)
  • salt and pepper to taste

1.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F

2. Mince garlic and open the can of stewed tomatoes.

3.Place the roast in a roasting pan. Tenderize meat by poking it a few dozen times with a fork. Salt and pepper the meat. Pour stewed tomatoes over everything.

4.Roast for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, until fork tender. Let stand for about 10 minutes at room temperature before carving and serving.
